What You’ll Do:

As a Senior Network & Infrastructure Specialist, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

· Advanced Network & Server Management: Architect, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot sophisticated network hardware, server configurations, and virtualization platforms to ensure high availability, optimal performance, and scalability.

· Comprehensive Security Implementations: Design and implement robust security measures across network and cloud environments, including advanced threat detection, data protection, and identity management solutions.

· Data Protection & Disaster Recovery: Oversee and enhance backup and recovery strategies for critical data, ensuring business continuity and data integrity across various platforms.

· System Monitoring & Optimization: Proactively monitor network and server performance, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to maximize uptime and efficiency. This includes managing patch deployments and configuration changes to maintain compliance and security.

· Client & Internal Consulting: Provide expert-level technical guidance and support for complex IT challenges, including remote and onsite assistance, security posture assessments, and compliance consulting.

· Third-Party Engagement: Coordinate and oversee specialized security audits and penetration testing performed by external partners to ensure the highest level of security assurance.

· Strategic Planning & Documentation: Contribute to IT strategy development, project planning, and maintain comprehensive documentation for all network and server infrastructure.

What You’ll Bring:

We are seeking a seasoned professional with a strong blend of technical mastery and strategic thinking:

· Extensive Experience: Proven senior-level experience (5+ years) in designing, implementing, and managing complex network and server infrastructure, including physical and virtual environments.

· Network Expertise: Deep understanding and hands-on experience with network routing, switching, firewalls, and secure remote access solutions.

· Server & Cloud Proficiency: Strong background in server administration (Windows and/or Linux), virtualization technologies, and experience with cloud-based productivity suites, identity services, and cloud security principles.

· Security Acumen: Demonstrated expertise in endpoint detection and response, vulnerability management, email security, and dark web monitoring. Familiarity with compliance standards (e.g., PIPEDA, HIA, SOC 27001, NIST, PCI).

· Data Management Skills: Experience with robust data backup, replication, and disaster recovery solutions, including on-premise and cloud-based storage.

· Proactive Monitoring & Management: Proficiency with remote monitoring and management (RMM) platforms, patch management, and automated security policy enforcement.

· Exceptional Problem-Solving: Superior analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

· Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proven ability to lead projects and work effectively within a team.

· Certifications: Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCIE, CCNP, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, CISSP, CompTIA Security+) are highly preferred.
