Expert to join our growing team and help lead the delivery of advanced infrastructure solutions across our clients’ on-premises and hybrid cloud environments.
This senior technical role is ideal for someone who brings deep expertise, strong communication skills, and a passion for elevating infrastructure standards across an organization.
About the Role
As our Infrastructure Support Expert, you’ll serve as a top-tier technical authority within the IT Services team. You’ll take ownership of complex escalations, guide the design and
implementation of infrastructure solutions, and collaborate closely with Solution Engineers, Technical Leads, and Project Managers.
You’ll also play a key role in mentoring junior technicians, shaping best practices, and contributing to strategic IT initiatives that help our clients, and our team operate with
stability, efficiency, and confidence.
This is a full-time, onsite role based in Grande Prairie, AB. Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (On-Call Rotation as Required)
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and resolve high-complexity infrastructure issues and escalations from Tier 1-3 technicians
• Design and implement advanced infrastructure solutions across on-premises and hybrid cloud environments
• Support infrastructure projects in partnership with Solution Engineers and Project Managers
• Perform infrastructure assessments, performance tuning, and security reviews
• Maintain and improve documentation including system diagrams, configuration standards, and recovery plans
• Mentor and coach junior technicians to strengthen internal skill development
• Continuously stay up to date on emerging technologies, tools, and certifications relevant to enterprise infrastructure
What We’re Looking For
Required:
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); excellent communication and presentation
skills
• Expert-level troubleshooting and diagnostic ability across modern infrastructure
environments
• Strong client-facing communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Familiarity with Hyper-V, Windows Server, and Microsoft Azure or other cloud
platforms
• Experience with ConnectWise PSA or similar platform is an asset
Must Hold at Least One of the Following Certifications:
• CompTIA Cloud+
• CompTIA Security+
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty
Preferred Experience:
• 5+ years in infrastructure support, engineering, or architecture roles
• Demonstrated experience designing and managing enterprise-grade infrastructure
• Exposure to high-availability environments, vendor management, and security best practices
