As an Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth, building and maintaining client relationships, and staying updated with market trends. Your responsibilities will involve generating sales leads, presenting IT solutions to clients, preparing sales quotes and proposals, negotiating deals, and collaborating with technical teams. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting market analysis, maintaining sales records, and providing regular sales reports to management.
Responsibilities:
Generate Sales Leads:
– Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the IT sector.
– Research and prospect potential clients to expand the customer base.
– Commission-based role.
Client Relationship Management:
– Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
– Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries and concerns.
Product Knowledge:
– Stay informed about the latest IT products and services.
– Effectively communicate the features and benefits of IT solutions to potential clients.
Sales Presentations:
– Develop and deliver persuasive sales presentations to clients.
– Customize presentations to address specific client needs and pain points.
Quoting and Proposal Writing:
– Prepare accurate and compelling sales quotes.
– Create detailed proposals outlining IT solutions tailored to client requirements.
Market Analysis:
– Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
– Provide insights on competitive products and pricing strategies.
Collaboration with Technical Teams:
– Work closely with technical teams to understand and relay customer requirements.
– Ensure a smooth transition from sales to the implementation phase.
Sales Reporting:
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities.
– Prepare regular sales reports for management review.
Customer Support:
– Collaborate with support teams to address customer issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
– Proactively follow up with clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and identify additional needs.
Qualifications:
– Proven experience in IT sales or a related field.
– Strong understanding of IT products and services.
– Excellent communication and presentation skills.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
– Familiarity with CRM software and Managed Services is a plus.
– Current Driver’s License and access to a vehicle required.
Hourly Pay does come with potential commission structure.
