As an Account Manager at Hi-Tech Business Systems, you will play a crucial role in nurturing and expanding our client relationships while driving the successful delivery of projects. You will be responsible for managing key accounts, understanding client needs, and collaborating with both internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and project success. Your role will combine strategic sales efforts with hands-on project management, ensuring that our clients receive high-quality, tailored solutions.
You will work closely with the Project’s team to provide technical support during pre-sales activities, and to ensure seamless implementation of solutions. As an Account Manager, your focus will be on creating value for clients, driving revenue growth, and building long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
· Client Relationship Management:
o Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, fostering long-term relationships built on trust and collaboration.
o Understand client business needs, objectives, and challenges, and identify opportunities to deliver tailored solutions.
o Regularly meet with clients to review their accounts, assess satisfaction, and gather feedback to improve service delivery.
· Sales and Account Growth:
o Manage the entire sales cycle for your accounts, from initial discovery through contract negotiation and closing.
o Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding service offerings to existing clients.
o Collaborate with the sales team to develop and present proposals, presentations, and quotes to clients.
· Project Oversight and Coordination:
o Coordinate with the Service team to ensure that all client projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required specifications.
o Monitor project progress, address client concerns, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
· Collaboration with Internal Teams:
o Collaborate with the Service and Technical teams to ensure smooth execution and implementation of client solutions.
o Work alongside the Project Team to ensure seamless handoff of client requirements, technical assessments, and R&D insights.
o Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to resolve issues, facilitate communication, and ensure project alignment.
· Client Retention and Satisfaction:
o Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and managing client expectations effectively.
o Address client concerns promptly and work proactively to resolve issues and prevent escalations.
o Conduct regular check-ins with clients to assess satisfaction and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
· Market and Product Knowledge:
o Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and product innovations to offer clients cutting-edge solutions.
o Continuously seek ways to improve product offerings and sales approaches based on feedback and market changes.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
· Sales Expertise:
o Experience in account management and sales
o Strong ability to identify opportunities for account growth and effectively negotiate and close deals.
o Comfortable working in a consultative sales environment, where listening to client needs and providing customized solutions is key.
· Project Management:
o Experience overseeing client projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and client expectations.
o Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
o Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
· Technical Acumen:
o Basic understanding of networking, IT infrastructure, or technical solutions
o Ability to engage in technical conversations with clients and work closely with technical teams to understand project requirements and solutions.
o Comfortable working alongside technical experts to ensure that client needs are met with the right solutions.
· Communication & Relationship Building:
o Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal teams.
o Strong negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to handle complex sales cycles and manage client expectations.
o Ability to present solutions in a clear, persuasive, and compelling manner.

Desired Experience:
· 3+ years of experience in account management, sales, or business development.
· Experience working in a technical or IT services environment is highly desirable.
· Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing key client accounts.
· Familiarity with CRM systems and project management tools.
Office hours are Monday to Friday – 8am – 5pm. This is an in-person position, and you will be required to be at the office.
