IT Dispatcher (Full-Time, Onsite)

Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about keeping things running smoothly in a fast-paced IT environment? We’re looking for a Hybrid IT Dispatcher to join our growing team and help coordinate both service and project-based work across our IT Services division.

About the Role

As our Hybrid IT Dispatcher, you’ll be the central point of coordination for all service tickets (break/fix and managed services) and project tasks. You’ll work closely with our IT Services team, Project Manager, and collaborate with Sales and Purchasing to ensure tickets are assigned, tracked, and completed efficiently. You’ll also be responsible for communicating with clients and internal teams, reporting on progress, and helping us stay on top of SLAs and project timelines.

This is a full-time, onsite role based in Grande Prairie, AB.

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM ( Permanent, Full-Time )

Key Responsibilities

· Dispatch and coordinate service and project tickets using ConnectWise PSA, Microsoft Planner, and Microsoft Project.

· Monitor ticket queues and ensure timely assignment and follow-up with technicians.

· Communicate with clients to confirm scheduling, updates, and resolution timelines.

· Collaborate with Sales and Purchasing to align resources and timelines.

· Track and report on ticket and project progress, including SLA compliance and project milestones.

· Maintain accurate documentation and ensure systems are updated in real time.

· Support the Project Manager by offloading project coordination tasks.

 

What We’re Looking For

· Fluent in English (spoken and written) — clear communication with clients is essential.

· Fluency in French is an asset, but not required.

· Strong multitasking and time management skills.

· Excellent interpersonal and written communication abilities.

· High attention to detail and organizational discipline.

· Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook).

· Experience with ConnectWise PSA or similar platforms is an asset.

· Experience with Microsoft Project or Planner is an asset.

· Working knowledge of IT terminology and service environments preferred.

· 1–5 years of experience in dispatching, coordination, or administrative roles in IT or technical services is preferred—but we’re open to training the right candidate.
