Microsoft has recently announced a major security vulnerability which could render your computer susceptible to ransomware known as WannaCry. The infected computer’s data is encrypted and a demand for $300 is stated before files are unlocked. The malware also has the ability to spread throughout your home and office network.

We encourage you to immediately check that your Windows 7 or 10 operating system is up to date on your desktop or laptop computer (click the Windows Start button, Control Panel, Windows Update) and check the status of your antivirus definitions.
